John worked with us as a geophysicist in Maine on a mineral assessment program for several summers on Penobscot and Passamaquoddy Indian trust land in the 1980’s. The young men (Passamaquoddy and Penobscot) who worked on our crews loved his stories and his great sense of humor. I remember him as a smart, hard working, nice man who loved his work, the woods and his family. Sending condolences, love and prayers to you all. Theresa Secord
