Obituary of Russell Chester Currie

The passing of Russell Chester Currie of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on July 7, 1949 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Chester and Jean (Carlisle) Currie.  Russell served in the Canadian Air Force; he then worked for Air Canada. 

Russell is survived by his son, Gordon Currie; grandchildren, Madison and Makaya; sister, Carlene Currie; brothers, Michael, Larry, Graham and Gregory Currie; several nieces and nephews.

There will no services at this time by request.  A Graveside Service will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
