To Wendy, John, Wanda and Family: Just a note to say that I am so sorry in the incredible loss of Mrs. Currie. I met her probably close to 35 years ago and no matter where I saw her after that, she was always so welcoming and kind.
Her obituary captured her life and everyone and everything that she loved and if you didn't know her, after reading her obituary you would feel like you did. The beautiful profile picture is how I will always remember your Mum. Her beautiful smile and her flawless skin were the two things that I always noticed about her.
My Mum passed away two days before Mrs. Currie. I can guarantee you all that they are both in Heaven, not sure which one would be talking more because they both had the wonderful gift of gab. I am sure there is lots of tea and cookies being shared between them and they are talking about their precious children and how lucky they were to be our Mother's. We all know that we were the lucky ones to have had them for as many years as we did and that we were so fortunate to be able to call them our Mother. In the days that you are sad and missing her, think about all the funny things she did and said and the wonderful memories and stories you have.
Thinking of you all
Sincerely,
Maria Pugh

Please accept my deepest condolences.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Marjorie when she moved to the Manor. I work as a housekeeper there and always looked forward to seeing Marjorie. We always had a great chat and ended up knowing some of the same people.
She always made me smile and we had lots of laughs. She was such a sweet, kindhearted lady. I am so grateful for the time I had with her. She will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace Marjorie.

Sorry to hear of Aunt “Marge’s” passing. I have fond memories of visiting Uncle Jack and Aunt Marge’s welcoming home just up the road from Nannie Currie. I remember staying with them when mum was in the hospital having my sister. It was the first time I tasted porridge.... it did not go well.
Marge was always interested in my family and it was clear that her family was so important to her. She suffered the great losses of Jack and Alonzo but carried on with great strength. I hope she is at peace and reunited with those who have gone before her.

It was always a pleasure visiting Marjorie when volunteering for the Kingsley Silver Top Seniors Club. She invited me to sit with her at every gathering and I always took her up on those offers.
When she moved into York Care Center I had gone a few months without seeing her, until I started working there through a course I was taking in school. It was a treat be united with her.
My condolences to her family and friends, as she was a wonderful person and will be missed. May she live forever in our memories.
