Sincere condolences to the family of Shirley Harper. Shirley was a dear friend who showed much delight and appreciation when I dropped off the weekly church bulletin,a small bouquet of purple violets or molasses cookies whether at home, Paradise Villa or York care. An interesting conversation was always part of the visit. Shirley will be missed.Elaine Crawford

A good life well lived;a caring professional well respected!
Like most "Younger" phns who worked in Fredericton office;I LOVED SHIRLEY HARPER!
Her concern and dedication to her clients ( who lived less than privileged lives) was admirable
Her ability to bring laughter into the workplace was a gift to her colleagues. ( Stories of her work related escapades with Kay Carr and Grace Bruce are embedded in my mind forever and continue to make me smile)
Her love for her "boys" was palpable!
Her self effacing manner aside she mentored us without knowing it.
To paraphrase Mother Theresa : We cannot do great things we can only do small things with great Love : That was Shirley: day after day year after year doing her work with great love in her own self effacing way.
Rest in Peace Shirley You earned it!
