My heart goes out to everyone who was friends / family to Preston. Preston wasn't just only a great instructor, he was a great friend. I'm so thankful that I had the chance to meet him and to be his student. Preston was unlike anyone I have ever met, he had a passion for what he did and influenced so many others. I remember Preston pulling me out of class just to talk about my future and where I wanted to go, he set out a path for me to achieve and how to go about it. I'm glad I can say that I wouldn't be where I was now without Preston. He gave us the motivation and confidence we needed to land where we are right now. Thank you Preston for all of the amazing things you did for us, you were truly an incredible person and will be forever missed.

My condolences to Betty, Lacey, and the rest of his family. To me he was one of the most caring friend, instructor, and mentor.
Preston was my instructor when I first met him. By the time I graduated the course he was a great friend to me as well as a mentor. He helped me to become the instructor I wanted to be.He had a way with his students that always surprised me. He could adapt to each student's need or the way they learned to make sure his students got the best education and could understand the difficult parts of the course. He was a great mentor to me and others. He kept everything positive and never made anyone feel they couldn't do something; he would do whatever it took to make sure topics and tasks were completed. More than that he was a great friend I could talk to about anything from gaming to our love of IT in general. I will definitely celebrate all the good memories I have of Preston and he will be missed greatly.

I met Preston some years back at the college, where I am one of the building contractors. We instantly became acquaintances and had many great chats over the years whenever I was working in the building. As we got to know each other a bit, I came to realize that despite having had some serious health issues, he was one of the nicest and most positive people I'd ever met. I really think he tried to make every day count. I am truly saddened. Won't be the same when I go there now. Truly one of the good guys, and taken far too soon. Sincere condolences to your family.

Hello Betty and Family,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all. I was deeply saddened to hear of Preston's passing. I have not seen him for a few years but I adored him. He was a great instructor and friend to me at Eastern College and I also worked with Betty for years at Accenture. My Mom also worked with Preston years ago at the Hartt Shoe Factory in downtown Fredericton. She has shared a few stories with me and also held Preston in high regard.
I know your heart must be broken right now Betty. You were both such a great team! I know there are no words that will suffice right now but please know that my heart feels your pain and I will pray that you will someday find peace in it all. Preston was a great guy and loved and admired by many. It is so sad that we cannot all gather and show you and him that love and be able to hug you and try in some little way to ease your pain, if only for a moment, through a memory or a laugh. My prayers will have to do for now.
I know this is an old cliche, but if there is anything that I can do to help you or your family get through it all, please let me know.
My sincerest and deep felt sympathy,
Annette Everett

Special condolences to Preston's family and especially his sister Ernestine. Words cannot express how difficult this is for all the family. There may be a time later to gather as a family to reminisce and share stories of Preston's life. As difficult as it is now you will never forget his special life and all the good times you shared.
Love and prayers to the family. Muriel Sanford
