Roy.. You sure lived a long life. Amazing man indeed. You were a neighbour when I was born and later in life you became my neighbour again. Always enjoyed cleaning your house and chatting it up. RIP Roy. Marilyn SPARKES

To the family and friends of Roy Sands, we would like to extend our condolences. It was a pleasure having Roy come out to get sawdust for his horses when we had our sawmill. He always had a story to tell. He will be missed.

Roy will always hold a special place in my heart. We shared many good meals (Roy was a really good cook) and many great laughs. He was a wealth of historical information about the Stanley area, I learned a lot from my friendship with Roy. I know that Roy is in his happy place with Phyllis.

I grew up in Giants Glen near Roy's place, and always remember Roy and his mother as good neighbours, and want to express our sympathy to the family.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Roy, a truly wonderful man and friend of Jerry parents, he will always be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. He was in the transition care center at DECH with Alma Price (my Mom) and I enjoyed a lot of talks with him there. May God comfort and sustain you all in the loss of a wonderful man

I grew up living across the road from Roy Sands. I have many memories of Roy with his horses, his dog, & working in his prize garden. He always had a kind word & loved to chat. Even after leaving the Glen Road once I grew up, I always visited Roy when I would return home. I will so miss him not being there. Rest in Pease Roy!
