I became acquainted with Charlotte and her works at the annual Christmas Craft Shows held in November and December in Fredericton. ..and on one birthday, 20 plus years ago, I decided that I wanted to gift myself with one of Charlotte's exquisite woven scarves. I remember that I called her on a weekend and we met a couple of days later to make the sale happen. Charlotte was a wonder. ..a truly BEAUTIFUL person. I greatly enjoyed our time together and our talks, both at craft shows and at her home workshop. I own about seven of Charlotte's woven scarves, two sweaters, pillows and a tea cosy. ..and probably more! - and I treasure each and every beautiful piece.
I miss you, Charlotte. To your husband and family, I am very, very sorry for your loss. Charlotte was a lovely person, both on the inside and on the outside. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Andrea xoxo

So sorry to hear of Charlottes passing. Charlotte was a wonderful wife, mother, Oma and friend. She always wore a smile, something we will all miss. Her talents in fiber artistry were exceptional, she will be missed at the annual craft exhibits. My heart goes out to all in her Family.

We dont know where our previous entry went but we wanted Woulter and the family to know how much we will miss Charlotte. She was a lovely neighbor and a very energetic, compassionate woman. We cherish many moments but the one that stands out is a memory of sailing with her and Woulter.

Selamat Jalan lieve Charlotte.
We never got to meet but you and my mother had similar backgrounds and are now in the same place, being born in het voormalige Nederlands Oost Indie. Marlien, there is a special place in heaven for these extraordinary and brave women.
My heart goes out to you and your entire family as life is never the same without Mama or Oma.

Upon moving to Willingdon St. we met a beautiful, generous, high energy lady with skills and travel plans that greatly exceed her peers. The relating of her early life experiences and the local neighbour history provided us with a cherished closeness with Charlotte and Walter. We will miss you Charlotte, but you will never be forgotten.
