Life Legacy It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn McIntyre at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, January 1, 2016. Debbie was born in Germany on December 17, 1962 while her father was serving in the airforce. Debbie moved back to Canada and grew up in various parts of New Brunswick, finally settling in Fredericton. Debbie was a dedicated teacher at FHS. She was passionate about English, and always went above and beyond for her students. Debbie was an active member of Faith Baptist Church, and enjoyed sharing her faith and praising the Lord through the choir. Debbie was a creative thinker, and an avid reader and writer. Her biggest joys in life were her three girls. She also had a deep love for dogs, and leaves behind her furry companion; Ellie. Debbie is survived by her loving and dedicated husband; Tom Sweeney of Durham Bridge, NB; her daughters; Sara, Emily and Molly McIntyre of Fredericton, NB; her precious granddaughter, Aubree Lynn; her sister, Patti Tremblay (Mark) and nephews, Thomas and William of Mississauga, ON; her parents, Allan and Linda McIntyre of New Maryland, NB; her grandmother, Lyda Murray of Campbellton, NB and her aunts and uncles. Debbie’s positive outlook on life gave her the strength to fight. Her strength and love will forever remain in the hearts of every life Debbie touched. Tuesday, January 5th there will be a celebration of Debbie’s life at Faith Baptist Church, New Maryland, NB with viewing from 1-3pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3pm and refreshments from 4-5pm. Donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB.
