Andy gave me my first ride in his black covertable wearing his black gloves! He also gave me my first record Queen. I remember his calm gentle ways. He wrote beautiful letters and his handwriting was absolutely perfect. A few memories from long ago. He was someone you just didn't forget.

I wouldn’t have believed drums could produce notes with tone & pitch till I heard Andrew play. Nobody does it better, a true Artist.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Andrew for over 30 years. He touched many lives including mine, & leaving a lasting impression….gifted, talented, articulate, kind & caring, respectful of all…a wonderful Christian, a great inspiration, full of Life.
Much loved & greatly missed…already.

Please accept our condolences on the loss of your precious son. Andy was one of the best drummers I have ever had the opportunity to do music with. I always appreciated his quiet gentle personality.....Even when it was obvious he was suffering in pain, he committed to play and he showed up to play. That spoke volumes of his character his commitment and his love for music. It was an honour to sit on the same stage with him. I can truly say Heaven's gain is our loss. Kim McKay-White

Andrew was a blessing to us both as young Christians growing up together in the same church and his life meant so much to us as we sang and fellowshipped together. We were there when he movd from the microphone to the drums and found his true voice. Over the years when we visited our home church catching up with Andrew was always on our list of things to do. Andrew was a quiet, strong and thoughtful model of the Christian man and we will miss him. Our hearts are broken for you all and we lift you all in our prayers.

So sorry to hear of Andy's death. I know you all will miss him very much but in the midst of your sorrow may you all hold on to the certain hope we have in Christ. 2Cor 5:8 tells us that for the believer in Christ "to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord."

Shocked to read this. I haven't seen Andrew since grade 8. I knew he was a gov't employee like myself. Just one nice guy that crossed my life's path in my early yrs. He liked draftsman type work if I remember correctly. Gone to young!

Like other's I am still shocked even though I knew the time was coming.
Andy was such a dear friend to me during the "Country Junction" days and a friendship I will always cherish. He was always there to listen and his soul was full of kindness and love. I am honoured to have called him a friend!
Andy was such a wonderful devoted Christian who through his drumming I am sure touched many lives as he touched mine.
God bless you and your family during this time. I can not imagine what it would be like to lose a child but please find comfort in knowing not only did he know Jesus and is with him now, but he left behind so many wonderful memories and touch so many hearts.
Sending our love and prayers to your family. Thank you for all that your family has ever done for me. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anything.
xoxo

Glen, Ruth, Luana, John and Pam:
I was utterly shocked this evening to learn of Andrew's passing. Yes, I have known for a long time that he was battling cancer. But the disbelief!
Please accept my condolences.
I first met Andy when he was a kid of 11 at the Maugerville Baptist Church. Always in a good mood, always smiling ... he was fun to be around.
In later years I attended many Christian concerts where he performed as the drummer. And my ... how he could play!
Often met Glen and Ruth at these concerts too - at Devon Park and at the Keswick Baptist Church.
A better place is his home now. We will meet again, Andy.
