Now life’s been fair for this here man
Blessed with a family all so grand
It grieves my heart to end my stay
Cause I no more will be passing this way
Before too long we’ll meet again
But as I wait my love I send
And as I lie here on the brae
I no more will be passing this way
And some day soon I hope and pray
We’ll be as one when you’re passing this way
