Obituary of John Fennwick Tapley

It's with great sadness we announce that John Tapley passed away on February 13, 2024. He was the son of the late Fenwick and Mary (Clayton) Tapley. He was loved and remembered by his sister, Patsy Belyea; niece, Lori Belyea; chosen family, Chuck Axcell, Tammy Golden, Donna and Jill Stafford; his furbaby family, late dog DeeDee, Duck, Henry, Peanut, Yin Yang "Ian" and Buster.

For those who met John, knew he was a gentle soul and a good man. Feel free to say something or recall a fun memory. He was family and best friend to Tammy and will be greatly missed. Chuck told Tammy 17 years ago when John knocked on their door to cut their grass. "Don't feed him. Don't feed him. He'll never go away." and they were greatful everyday that she did not listen. Their life has been truly blessed with him in it.

There will be no service at this time and he is under the care of York Funeral Home. He had a great love for animals, so for those who wish donations may be made to the SPCA.
