Vincent Louis Calhoun - Born in Empress, Alberta on November 20, 1936, and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, passed from this life at 3:45 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick. 

Predeceased by his parents, affectionately called Papa Fred and Mamma Laura; his brothers, Carl, Lester, John, Emerson, Claude and Colby; two sisters, Phyllis and Josephine.

Dad married his sweetheart, Shirley Dudley, on July 16, 1953, just under 70 years ago. He loved their eight children!  He was predeceased by his son, Robert James, and one son-in-law, Dail Carr. His children are Mel (Pam), Laura Mae (Bonner), Jerry (Donna), Gale (Greg), Kim, Brent (Rhonda) and Allan (Carla);11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly, 287 McNamee Road, McNamee, NB on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4-8 pm.  The Home Going Service will take place from the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2 pm.  The service will also be available through the churches facebook page (Link will be available on the funeral home’s website).  Pallbearers for the service will be Robbie Long, Jodie Long, Palma Dean, Rachael O'Neil, Doug Carr and Trevor Calhoun.  Interment will take place in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove in the spring.
