Obituary of Katharina Gere

GERE, KATHARINA

The passing of Katharina Gere of Prince William, NB, wife of the late Kalman Gere, occurred on Monday, August 15, 2022 at  home.  Born on November 27, 1945 in Darda, Croatia, she was the daughter of the late Franz and Eva (Schmidt) Fuderer. 

Katharina is survived by her children, Irene McAleenan (Kirk) and son, Zoltan Gere (Georgina); grandchildren, Adam, Charlie, Evelyn, Chris, Benedikt and Beatrice; great grandchildren, Amelia, Layla, Audrey and Cameron; brother, Franz Fuderer; several nieces and nephews..

There will be no visitation by request; there will be a private service. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
