Obituary of Lois Helen Lacy

LACY, LOIS HELEN

The passing of Lois Helen Lacy of Fredericton, NB, age 86, occurred on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Windsor Court Retirement Residence. Born in June 1936 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Thelma (Anderson) Waters. Lois was an X-ray Technologist at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for more than two decades and was a talented gardener and doting caretaker of her cats and dogs.

Lois is survived by her children, Stephen Lacy (Cristina Lacy) of Foxboro, MA and Susan Lacy (Gary Welch) of Fremont, CA; grandchildren, Emilia and Emma Lacy and Tianna Davoodi; sister, Rosalie Clark of Portland, ME; nieces and nephews, Karol Waters, David Waters, Jeffrey Clark and Gregory Clark; and sister in law, Joan Waters.

In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by her brother, Fred Waters.

There will be no visitation.   A Memorial Service will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery Extension, Saint John, NB; Plot #9E Section G at 3 pm, Saturday, August 13, 2022; followed by a Dinner Reception for all at 5 pm at Saint John Skywalk Visitor Center- Chandelier Room.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fredericton SPCA (http://frederictonspca.ca/).
