Obituary of Ritchie Allen Pugh

The sudden passing of Ritchie Allen Pugh of Burtt’s Corner, NB, occurred on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on May 19, 1942 in Burtt's Corner, he was the son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Brewer) Pugh. Ritchie was a pipe fitter and plumber by trade but his favorite job was as a professional grandpa.

Ritchie is survived by his children, Todd Pugh (Carla Boyd) of Fredericton, Jamie Pugh of Estey's Bridge, Peter Pugh of Burtt's Corner, Aaron Pugh (Jessica) of Birdton; grandchildren, Zachary, Sadie, Chloe; brother Pat Pugh; sister Gail Dunphy (Alonzo); special niece, Debra Wade; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Dr. Paul Pugh, Chloe Wade, John Pugh, Joseph Pugh, Cedric Pugh.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at Burtt’s Corner Church of Christ, 1021 Route 104, on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 1 to 2 pm and will be followed directly by a Funeral Service at 2pm. Interment will take place in Burtt’s Corner Community Cemetery, at a later date.
