Moase Family Tree. My sincere condolences to all the family. And my apologies for the delay. I live in England and have only just discovered the passing of Clifford. We had been corresponding by email for the last 11 years - connected by our genealogy research in the The Moase family; my great grandmother was Louisa Moase from Frithelstock in Devon. Clifford helped me such a lot and I'm delighted to have one of his self-published books - I was also thrilled to be able to give him information he didn't already have. A true gentleman.
With love - Ruth Turner (nee Hiscott-Davie)

With hearts filled with menories and respect we extend our sympathy to Cliff's family and friends. He officiated at our marriage in Hunter River, PE on May 19, 1956 and became a great colleague in the years that followed and working with him at many levels of Church governance was an honour. He loved the church and served faithfully as a minister of the Gospel. A gift has been made to Mission and Service through St. John's United in Moncton honouring ministry and friendship.
Easter blessings,
Doug & June MacEachern

Dear family, I am very saddened to hear of Cliff’s passing. I grew up in Kensington and knew and loved the Moase family. I knew Evelyn and Keith the best but got to know Cliff during the time that his Dad was a patient in Rehab. He was so sweet and so supportive to his parents. He had his Moms beautiful face and warm manner.Love and blessings, Kathleen Walker Campbell

To the Moase Family,
Was saddened to hear of Cliff’s death. My condolences to the family. My association with your family goes way back to the early 1960’s at Berwick Camp. We along with your family and about six other families formed the first little trailer court in the upper campgrounds at Berwick. Your Dad was a great mentor to my late husband Morris with his help and expertise with the sound system at Berwick. Found this picture from Berwick which brings back fond memories of your folks.
Sincerely ,
Roberta Barss

Dear Family,
My sincere condolences to you all. As a member of Wilmot United Church, I will remember Cliff as a caring, thoughtful man who enjoyed connecting with people. I know that he loved deeply for his wife Joyce and for his family. His enjoyment of Berwick Camp and his incredible woodworking ability will be fondly remembered by so many.
Thank you for livestreaming the funeral service as I was able to join you in that way.
I smiled when you mentioned his Tilley hat! My dad also wore one. In the past 2 years, as outdoor visits became the norm in long term care during the pandemic, there were many times that Cliff would scooter up wearing his and we'd all join in conversation. His special presence always brightened our day whenever he appeared.
May your fond memories be treasured and bring you peace as you remember Cliff.

Dear Moase family:
You will, without doubt, hear from many people when
this news of your Dad’s very recent passing reaches
everyone. He was such a well known, well respected
and well loved member of the Maritime Clergy and that
never wavered.
We always appreciated his messages, since we were not always living in areas where we would have access
to such information.
Also, he added personal things that helped us know
that he knew that our interest in the lives of other clergy
and where they were at that time was also welcome
news. He was a brilliant man, thoughtful, caring and
very genuine. We always liked both Joyce and
Cliff and after Bill died, l always felt very honoured
to receive his messages.
Your loss is great and difficult, and l want to say how sorry l am.
Please accept my sympathies, it is a very difficult time
for all of you.
May God be with each of you
Sincerely,
Hilary Fraser

So sorry to read of Cliff’s passing. He was such a pleasant man. He would often join us for discussions on whatever was current when we’d sat in the front lobby of Thomas hall while visiting my friend Gerry .
We would have some laughter thrown in . All subjects could be covered. It has been a couple of years since those chats took place however.

Tamara and I have very fond memories of Cliff when he was the minister at Grace United in Dartmouth, including being the officiant at our wedding. When I went into ministry, Cliff gifted me with books from his library as he was downsizing in retirement. Later we crossed paths again at Berwick Camp at the United Church Camp Meeting there in the summers. A kind, warm and faith-filled servant of God. May light perpetual shine upon him and may his family and friends find peace and comfort in knowing that he is home.
Reverend Michael and Tamara Mugford and family.

My sincere condolences on the death of your beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a faithful, wise and compassionate servant of Christ, warmly remembered. Our paths crossed through Maritime conference. I treasure the gavel he made for me when I was Conference President, 2001-2002. A total surprise as I was unaware of his tradition. I am one of many for whom he made an enduring memento of that position. May you be held in God’s love and peace as your mourn his passing and be comforted. May Clifford Rest In Peace and rise in glory.

To Clifford's Family:
The Moase Family, both Clifford's and the broader Moase Family, have lost a wonderful man who took a deep interest in the family genealogy. I last visited with Rev'd Clifford in late 2019. He kindly assisted at my mother's funeral (Marjorie Moase) for which I will always be grateful. Condolences to everyone. He had crossed to the other side.
