I remember lots of Carlisle family Christmas parties growing up, and I always enjoyed seeing Jim and Marion there. Lots of games, great food, and good times. Jim will be greatly missed but I am glad that I got to meet him. My condolences and prayers to all the Hall, Wilkins and Carlisle relatives. Scott Carlisle

I met Jim in 1975 at the DOT Central Lab where I was a student for 3 summers. Jim was my first boss at DOT. He was an avid salmon fisherman and had a preferred location on the Saint John River where he would practice his craft at the crack of dawn. At least once per summer upon arriving at work we would learn that lunch would be the catch of the day. The other techs were contacted early to bring ingredients for the side dishes and an unforgettable salmon feast like no other was prepared on site by the crew.
Rest In Peace Jim.

Great sadness to hear of Jim's death.
What a lovely person always smiling and enjoying life. As a young person, I remember how he loved nature and talked about the animals he would come across. Thank you Jim, rest in peace. Debbie Thomas
