She will be deeply missed by her husband, John Edward (Buddy) Trevors; her children, Mary Ann (Marty Coles) Trevors of Halifax, Cathy (Peter) Tran of Fredericton, and Beth (Michael Wagner) Trevors of Moncton, along with her grandchildren Hannah, Owen T, Emily, and Owen C. Her memory will also be cherished by her sister, Trudy (Harold) Bernard, and her brothers, Billy Whalen and Neddy (Donna) Whalen. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary, Peggy, Nina, and Betty, and brother, Aubrey.
Kay was an avid bowler, scoring many 400 games over the years. She enjoyed watching baseball on TV and had a particular fondness for the Blue Jays. She loved solving crossword puzzles – it was a rare clue that stumped Kay. Prior to suffering a stroke in 2019, Kay was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, St. Theresa’s Church, and a member of their CWL. With all her varied interests, it was her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton NB on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1 pm with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan as celebrant. Interment will take place at
