Obituary of Jeanne Bourque

The passing of Mary Jane “Jeanne” Bourque of Rogersville, NB, wife of the late Leo Bourque occurred on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Foyer Assomption Home in Rogersville.  Born on February 3, 1920 in Rogersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Belonie and Annie (Donnell) Bourque. She was a member of St. Dunstan’s Roman Catholic Church and the CWL.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Edgar Bourque (Lucy) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Lisa Cranke, Kevin Bourque, Jamie and Mark McGloin; great grandchildren, Ryan and Grayson Cranke, Kelti and Riley McGloin; brothers, Clorist (Doris Finnegan) of Surrey, BC and Johnny (Cecile Beaulieu) of Logan Lake, BC; sisters-in-law, Eva, Anita and Therese; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Elodie McGloin; son, Roger Bourque; sisters, Rosalie, Nora, Eveline and Emilienne; brothers, Hypolite, Ernest, Jerard, Thaddee and Benoit.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
