As per Pastor Matt's message today, I can vouch that Rhoda sure had an "open door policy" at her condo in Fredericton for the last few years that I was one of her caregivers. Someone would call up and Rhoda would always say "Hi, I'll let you in", not knowing who it was. Thankfully we never had any trouble but I know that she sometimes had no idea who was coming for a visit. No matter who it was, she always welcomed them with open arms. One thing I will miss about Rhoda is that you could tell her anything, knowing that she would keep it to herself. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and she will be sadly missed. Thank you, Rhoda, for being "just like a Mom" to me.

Hi Debbie, Tim, Billy, Spouses, Extended Family……So saddened by your Mom’s passing. She was a very special dear friend to me and our family. I loved her. She is in a far better place but will miss her for sure. Memories of the good times make me smile through tears. Our condolences and prayers for you all.
We will not be able to attend her funeral. Brian and I both recently are Covid positive and Brian just finished his isolation today. I tested positive on Feb. 20, Sunday and my isolation isn’t finished until Saturday. Isn’t that just Murphy’s Law. Known her for years and now have stupid Covid. Thank you for having her Homegoing live streamed.
Our thoughts and prayers. Love, Janet and Brian

My condolences to the family of Rhoda. Her obituary is beautifully written and it is comforting to know that you, .her family, were with her when she passed away.
I grew up with Rhoda in Plaster Rock, but have not been in touch for many years.
I did speak with Clem this morning.
I am sure you are all grateful that you had Rhoda in you lives for these many years.
Sincerely.

Rhoda was a sweet lady who didn't complain about life. She enjoyed just relaxing at home and having people to visit with her. Even when not feeling well, she was pleasant. The fact that I had known Jessie since she was friends with my daughter since grade 4....and later moved next door to me, we had a "connection". When she told me stories about Callum and Chloe I knew who they were since they had both been in my house. I also knew Heather (we both went to school in Nackawic) so I got a kick out of Rhoda referring to her as "Pookie". I am glad I got to know this lovely lady and hearing her life story.
