My deepest condolences to the Palmater family. He was a kind soul and a valued and treasured mentor to me. No one had stories like Frank, they featured a who's who of the leading figures of our times. I think his own story of a reformed tough guy were the most colorful. I remember him finding me for a job at OMAA when a job was really needed. He was always free with sage advice and if you had Frank for a friend - there was no more valuable or loyal friend in the world. He was kind, generous and caring; he will be fondly remembered by his circle of longtime friends, numerous acquaintances and co-workers and political foes and friends. Frank filled up any room he was in. They say that the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and Frank you have burned so very very brightly.
Yours in eternal and appreciative friendship Randy Way

My deepest condolences to Mary, Scott and the Family. I have had the pleasure of working with Frank at NBAPC, then known as the New Brunswick Association of Metis and Non Status Indians back in 1977 and on and off for years to come. When I first met Frank, I found him intimidating but soon learned he was just a big teddy bear full of kindness and humor. I will miss your friendship. XO Wendy & Royce Boies

Condolences to Mary Louise, Scott, and the Palmater family. Vi and I had many interactions with Frankie over the years -- some good and some not so good -- but in the end, I think that Vi made her peace with Frankie. Death came too soon. Rest in Peace Frankie. Tony and Vi (in Spirit).
