I was just browsing old obits when I found your Mom’s obituary. As a little girl growing up in O’Leary PEI , I remember your parents so well and loved them both so much! They were wonderful! My family attended Bloomfield United but I spent a lot of time at Dr George and Jean Dewar’s home with my friend, Ellen Dewar. Lots of days there were spent playing with « the Kean Kids ». I clearly remember Mary, Carol, Ross, and Patricia and found some old photos the other day of us all together at a birthday party at Dewar’s home . Ross was about 4, I’d guess. There are also pictures of my Mom and my little brother, David Platts, at Baby Band parties with your Mom and several of you children.
I married Swabey Jelley, also from O’Leary, and he passed away two years ago. I live in Moncton now at Magnetic Hill and our family runs Magic Mountain. I couldn’t resist reaching out to you and telling you all what a wonderful addition to our Churches and our Community your parents and your whole family were. Sincere sympathy and hugs to all your family from a voice from way back in the past. God bless you all.
