I am sending love and light to you Randy and Tyler. I alway loved Kathy like a sister, she alway included me when I was younger and I remember the time you guys had a yard sale and I think I was staying with Esther and we went to help out. When it was all over I remember we all fell asleep in the living room. The last time I seen Kathy it was when she came to Eden to come and get some of Don stuff to take to the hospital

My deepest sympathy to Randy, Tyler and Kathy's entire family.
I worked with Kathy at CIBC, Queen St, for many years,
She made going to work each day such a joy with her bubbly fun personality.
We had so many good times during those years.
I remember Kathy lighting the candles on a birthday cake we purchased for one
of the staff members and she accidentally caught the front of her dress on fire.
Come to find out she had borrowed the dress from her mother in law.
Kathy will be greatly missed. She was such an inspiration for everyone she met.

God looked down to earth and saw it was without sunshine and laughter, so He sent Cathy, to lighten things up a bit. And boy, did she do her job. As I read these tributes, the commonality is her smile and ability to love and laugh, even in the face of sadness. A rare gem indeed, and now we must trust God, in her loss, because He knows best. Randy, I know this impacts you most, you were not only her husband but also her friend. Praying we can help you make the adjustment to life without her. Tyler, Belinda ?, Johnson family, we send our heart felt condolences. Heaven is that much sweeter, with her there. Joy knows no bounds. ❤️❤️

Randy, I am so terribly sad to learn of Kathy’s passing. We had been friends for so many years, starting as her teacher in elementary school, then on to banking.

Kathy was so instrumental in impacting my three boys’ lives in such a positive way. She baptized them all on the same day and her connection to this special day in their lives will always be such a great memory! She had a way of making children feel important and valuable. This is an exceptional skill that I had the privilege of observing in her. She is very much the reason why my oldest son has remained connected to church life until he graduated from high school. Our sincere condolences are sent to Randy and Tyler and the rest of her family. She was a special woman whose influence will never be forgotten.

sending prayers and condolences to Randy, Tyler, Kathy's sisters and her extended Shanks' family. Even though Kathy has been unwell for the past while, it is a shock and I am so sorry. We worked together at CIBC and I think we were a great team. While Kathy pursue other oppportunities in the bank and onto ministry, she always stayed in touch with her 448 Queen Street friends. When she came back to Fredericton she was instrumental in organizing our original CIBC 'retiree' group. I will always remember her humor, her love of God , family and friends. We have been blessed to have known her and call her friend.
