I was so saddened to hear of Margie's passing. She was a beautiful person with a lovely smile and always fun to have a chat with at the Portage and elsewhere. So very sorry to learn of Margie's death. She was a driving force at the Portage...and surely knew the meaning of great customer service. Anyone trying to follow her around the restaurant soon discovered the need for comfortable shoes! She loved her family and spoke of them often. We will miss her chats and her presence here in Miramichi.

Very shocked and saddened to hear the news of Margies passing. We grew up in Chatham in the same neighborhood. Although I never saw her too much over the years, it was always a highlight of my day when I did. Margie was always joyful and positive. She will no doubt be missed.
