Obituary of Helena Lillian Crouse

The passing of Helena Lillian Crouse of Fredericton, NB, loving wife of Wansley Crouse, occurred on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on April 22, 1936 in Zealand, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby (Brewer) Morehouse. Helena was a bookkeeper by trade. She was affectionately known as “Hootsie” by her father.

In addition to her husband, Helena is survived by her brothers, Frank Morehouse of New Maryland, NB and Leon Morehouse (Pat) of Brandon, MB; sisters in law, Dianne Morehouse, Mona Brewer and Almeda Brewer; several nieces and nephews and cousins; and special niece, Pam Gilbert who has provided compassionate care for Helena and Wansley.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Hartley Morehouse.

A Graveside Service (Masks Required) will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Cemetery, Main Street, Fredericton, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2 pm with Ven. John Sharpe officiating.
