Obituary of Mike Bezanson
The passing of Michael Hector Bezanson of Fredericton, NB occurred on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 31, 1949 in
Michael is survived by his loving wife of fifty two years, Linda Bezanson; his son, Michael Bezanson Jr. (Joyce) and daughter, Tabatha Bezanson. Michael was blessed with two very beautiful grandchildren whom he cherished, Jacob and Carly McFarlane, and held a special place in his heart for David, Alex, Jeffrey, George and Nancy Ryan. Michael is also survived by his brothers, David Best (Tina), Weldon Best (Betty) and Duke Davidson; sisters, Cathy Bennett, Karen Spencer (Russell) and Koren Davidson. In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his birth mother, Laura Bezanson and birth father, Dowd Best; sisters, Patsy and Georgie Faye; special uncle, Wade Bezanson.
Although Mike was a long haul truck driver for many years, he was best known for being an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and go on his side by side. Mike was also a well established riflemen, he became a Grand Champion and placed first in many competitions. Mike was able to pass the love of all these things down to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed each of the seasons to the fullest and loved all that nature had to offer. Later in his life, he developed a relationship with the Lord, and was proud to be Baptized. Mike loved and cherished the peace this brought to him in his final days, he felt so blessed.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family will have a private celebration of life. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
