So sorry to hear the news on Derwyn when you called on Thursday.
It is with great sadness that we reflect on the common path we have taken since you and Derwyn showed up on our doorstep in Bonavista some 50 years ago and the friendship we have shared since that time
Even though our careers took us in different directions in the years since Bonavista we have always considered you and Derwyn as lifelong friends and value the visits and conversations we have had since that time.

Dear Carmelle, Barbara Ann and Family: It has been many years since I have seen Derwyn but still laugh about our last conversation. We had a heated debate whether you go up to Moncton or down to Moncton! To this day, I still say down to Moncton and always think of him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and for the great loss you have all experienced. I know how special family is to all of you.
