Obituary of Marion Jacqueline Grant

Marion Jaqueline (Turner) Grant, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Born in St. Stephen, NB on January 24, 1934, she was the only daughter of the late Frances Elizabeth (Burke), and William Gilman Turner.
Marion is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Philip, whom she met roller skating one night in 1951. Also by her four daughters, Terry Grant, Cindy MacDonald, Tammy Mackey (Kevin) and Melanie Waterworth (Glyn); her eight grandchildren, Joel, Amanda, Christie, Patrick, Jordon, Jackson, Kyle and Ryan; six great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Marion was predeceased by her eight brothers, Gordon, Douglas, Harold, Guy, Vernon, Skiffington, Frank and Donald.
Marion was a faithful servant of Jehovah for over 67 years. She is fondly remembered as always reading the bound volumes of the Watch Tower and Awake. She enjoyed sharing her beliefs and hope for the future with her family and anyone who would listen. Marion also enjoyed playing cards and doing puzzles, which she always had to put the last two pieces in and would hide them from everyone, she used to dance with her cat Misty and enjoyed a Pink Lady every so often.
A Funeral Service will take place over zoom on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2 pm with a private burial taking place in St. Stephen at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at www.jw.org.
