Obituary of Donald Arthur Clark

The passing of Donald Arthur Clark of Fredericton, NB occurred on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on April 11, 1937 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late George and Grace (Garnet) Clark. Donald was raised in Fredericton; he went to Fredericton High School and joined the RCAF, later he was employed by Trius, RCMP and Corps of Commissionaires. He was a member of the RCMP Veteran’s Association. Donald was affiliated with St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB.

In addition to his partner, Margaret Springer; Donald's pride and joy his daughters, Melissa Sullivan and special son in law, Derek of Miramichi, NB; Eleanor "Ellie" Penson of Georgia, USA and chosen daughter, Bonnie-Anne Forbes of Fredericton, NB; precious grandchildren, Daniel and Sara Sullivan, and Cody Clark; three great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie McLeod of Fredericton, NB; brother, Vaughan Clark of Fredericton, NB; Goddaughter, Shelby Buckingham; sisters in law, Joan Dunn (Warren) of Fredericton, NB; brothers in law, Gerald Stewart (Eva) of McNamee, NB and John Johnston of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his first wife, Marlene Clark (Montpetit); second wife, Sharon Clark (Stewart); parents in law, Willard and Isabel Stewart; sister, Lois Clark; sister in law, Heather Johnston; brother in law, Charles Stewart; niece, Tina Buckingham. 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, September 12, 2021  from 2-7 pm.  A Memorial Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10 am with Rev. Paul Ranson officiating.  The family request that mask are required.  Interment will take place in St. James the Greater Anglican Cemetery, Ludlow, NB.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the RCMP Memorial Fund.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
