Obituary of Frances L. DeGrace

 

The passing of Frances L. DeGrace of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Raymond DeGrace occurred on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Fredericton Hospice.  Born on July 31, 1944 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Whittie) Bubar.  Frances was the rock of her family, always considering the needs of others. She loved knitting, crocheting, doing puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. 

 

Frances is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Hooper; grandchildren, Tyler Hooper (Nicole Ward) and Chelsey Hooper; great grandchildren, Landen and Jordyn Bertrand, Oliver and Avery MacAdams; sister, Austina Bubar (Ross); brother, Emerson Bubar (Charlotte); special friend and niece, Eydie Arbeau (Jerry) as well as several other nieces and nephews.

 

 In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her infant children, William, Richard and Debra; son in law, Roger Hooper; her infant sisters, Leona and Sharon Bubar; sisters, Thelma Estey (Morley) and Allie Gallagher (George). 

 

There will be no services by request at this time.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.).  Personal condolence may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
