The passing of Pauline Frederica Branston of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Donald Lloyd Branston, occurred on June 12, 2021 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on April 25, 1942 in McAdam, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Pauline (Cochrane) DeWitt.  Pauline was a clerical worker for DND at CFB Gagetown until her retirement.

 

Pauline is survived by her children, Donald Branston (Sue) of Beeton, ON, Deanna Branston of Fredericton, Dawn McKay (Keith) of Fredericton and Daryn Branston (Crystal) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Dakota (Holly), Samantha (Josh) and Dominick; great-granddaughter, Zoey; step-daughters, Susan Farris, Brenda Crossland (Bill), Lorraine Higgins (Kevin) all of Nova Scotia; sister, Patricia Gougeon (Andre) of Ontario; several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as her life long friends, Edna and Don Jordan, Mary and Dave Porter, Mary and Glen Hossack, Mary Ann DeWitt, Doris and Gerald Doiron and Claude Cyr.


Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frederick DeWitt (Audrey).

 

A Public Graveside Service will take place on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 2:30 pm in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton, NB., followed by a reception at her daughters home, 7 McMinniman Court, Lower St. Mary's. All welcome. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the McAdam Historical Restoration Commission (McAdam Railway Station).  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
