Obituary of Muriel Marie Matilda Peterson

The passing of Muriel Marie Peterson of Cardigan, NB, wife of William "Sunny" Peterson of 56 years, occurred on Monday, May 31, 2021at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on August 11, 1946 in Lorne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Elric and Opel (Hickey) Corrier. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Muriel was an avid gardener and loved flowers.

In addition to her husband, Muriel is survived by her sons,  Mike Peterson (Gail) and Audie Peterson (Sandra); granchildren. Elizabeth (Jordan), Ashley (Greg), A.J. (Maryanne), Anthony (Nancy), Amber (Lucas) and Ally (Colby); six great grandchildren; sister, Betty Thomas; brother, Nelson Corrier; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter; Lisa and brothers, Mark Corrier, Donald Corrier and William Corrier.
