Obituary of Lisa Dorothy Fletcher

 

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Lisa Dorothy Fletcher, of Lincoln NB, on Thursday, April 22, 2021.  Born on February 12, 1967 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of John and Dorothy Fletcher. 

 

Lisa was a very crafty independent woman who loved to sew, she loved her dog, snoop, she was a film fanatic and enjoyed playing tv/radio bingo with her children.  Overall, her favourite thing to do was to spend time with her children and grandchildren who were her world.  Lisa was a very fierce strong headed woman who will be deeply missed. 

 

Besides her parents, Lisa is survived by her three children, Melissa (Mike) Seymour of Lincoln, Jonathan Henry and Rebecca (Steve) Webster, both of Fredericton;  special grandchildren, Raine, Maggie, Violet and River; sister, Gail (George) Barrett, Lincoln; brothers, Douglas (Laurie) Fletcher, Mazerolle Settlement, Timothy (Vicky) Fletcher; Mike (Natalie) Fletcher, both of Fredericton; Robin (Brenda) Fletcher and David (Tara) Fletcher both of Durham Bridge; also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Lisa was predeceased by brothers, Robert Fletcher and Mark Fletcher; nephew Nicholas Fletcher. 

 

Due to the current health situation, the Funeral Service by invitation only will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday April 25, 2021 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.  Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
