The passing of Elda Jacqueline Milton of Douglas, NB, wife of the late Angus Walter Milton, occurred on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her home.  Born on December 7, 1940 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lorne Thomas and Floris Saunders and step-daughter of Byron Saunders

Elda loved to sew and often made clothes for her boys when they were growing up which were better than any clothes you could buy.  She enjoyed bowling, gardening and fishing.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of five.  

Elda is survived by sons, John Milton (Lisa) of Saint John, NB and Mike Milton of Douglas, NB; sister, Dawn Sullivan (Ted); brother, Richard Thomas (Joan); grandchildren, Sarah Milton (and her children, Lily & Noah), Megan Savoie (Ryan) (her daughter, Meadow) and Ashley Kinsman (Curtis) (her daughters, Olive & Iris). Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Steven Thomas. 

Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
