Obituary of Vicki-Lynn Thorne

With heart felt sorrow and love we announce the passing of Vicki-Lynn Thorne of Fredericton, NB, which occurred on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Hospice House Fredericton.  Born on March 10, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Judith (Munn) Thorne.  She was a Real Estate Agent with KW Capital Realty.  Vicki-Lynn was a Board of Director for the Fredericton Non Profit Housing Corporation.  She loved all sports.

Vicki-Lynn is survived by her sons, Jesseb O’Donnell (Emily) and Benjamin “Ben” Norrad both of Fredericton, NB; beloved friend, Kevin Quigley; brothers, Robert Thorne (Nahina) of New Maryland, NB, Rickie Thorne (Lisa) and Marc Thorne (Carol) both of Sussex, NB, Michael Thorne (Joanne) of Calgary, AB and Gerard Couture (Judy) of Bathurst, NB; aunt Gwen Bruce (Gary) of Fredericton, NB; cherished nieces and nephews; her best girlfriend, Margot Bird “her sister from another mother”.

 

No Visitation due to the current health concerns, by invitation only the Funeral Service will take place at Devon Park Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Woodcock officiating.  Interment will take place in Kirkhill Cemetery, Sussex, NB at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Youth in Transition or Chrysalis House.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.
