I am saddened to hear of Orville's death. My sincere sympathy goes out to all his family members. I remember him well as a gentle man and a gentleman - from my years of growing up in Upper Blackville. A few years ago I was able to visit with him briefly at the York Care Center, as my mother was also a resident there at the time. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

Sorry for your loss Rick and Doug many memories of your dad come to mind from my time spent growing up on hemlock ave. I can still see your mom and dad in later years before he went to the manor out walking hand in hand. I understand the loss you are feeling as losing your dad is a hard thing, I have been there, take care of your mom and show her lots of support while she grieves over losing her best friend. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and always remember your dad is in a better place now free of pain.
God bless you all

Our deepest Condolences to my sister-in-law Rhona, my nephews Rick and Doug, and my grandnephew Benjamin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Orville was a good brother. He always welcomed us as we traveled back and forth on our visits to Canada. Orville was always a very good student and was always correcting his little sister's pronunciation. We will miss Orville and are looking forward to a reunion in heaven.
With Love,
Janet and Larry Black

Oh behalf of my wife and I, I want to share our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all of the staff. On my frequent visits to York Care Centre since dad's admission, I was always impressed with the kindness, caring, and genuine concern of the staff and appreciate the way they treated dad as if he were a member of their own family. You all do an amazing job under difficult circumstances and it is greatly appreciated by the families and your excellent work makes a meaningful difference to many.
