Obituary of Irene Mary Martin

It is with a heavy heart the family of Irene Mary Martin, wife of Edward Martin, announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 15, 2020.  Born on January 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Arsenault) Duguay. 

In addition to her husband, Irene is survived by her daughters, Helen (Gordon), Betty and Doris (Donald); sons, Stephen (Lori) and Kenneth; three granddaughters; two grandsons; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, David and sister, Bertha.

Due to the current health situation there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Private Family Graveside Service will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Irene’s favourite charity the Salvation Army and would be much appreciated.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
