Obituary of John Kenneth King

On October 26th, 2020 at 64 years old, John Kenneth King III passed away suddenly. 

John was born on May 21st, 1956 to John and Alma King, and was raised in Almonte, ON.  John is survived by his wife, Marilyn King; his four children, Sasha (Jamie Quackenbush), Kathleen (Josh Harmon), John, and David.  He is also survived by his uncle, Barry (Ann King); his five nieces and nephews, Matthew, Robert, Christopher, Morgan, and William; his sister, Heather Bluteau (David Bluteau) and his brother, Tim King (Pam King). 

John was a remarkable artist with a quick witted mind and unfathomable sense of humour.  He loved bright colours, the sounds of birds, classical music, homemade baked goods, and his collection of books. John was cherished by all who knew him and they will all miss his joyous laughter. 

A Private Service will be held by invitation only at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2 pm.  The service can be viewed through the funeral home’s website.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery: http://beaverbrookartgallery.org/en/support/donations/.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
