It's been a number of years since we left Fredericton but Cliff always spoke of Raymond with admiration and affection. He taught me two years of Physics in summer school in 1966 and he did it well.Cliff and I had a great respect for Raymond as a teacher, an administrator and a fellow Christian. He was a man of integrity and kidness. He will be missed I'm certain by all who knew him.

Vera, Natalie, Glendon and Raymond
While I was so saddened to hear of Raymond's passing I soon began to smile as I thought of the years I had the pleasure of working with him at FHS. His patience and guidance working with a new teacher seemed to be endless and certainly made an enormous impact on my career. Both my Mom and Dad thought so highly of Raymond. I hope that this very difficult time is made easier knowing that so many people will keep you all in our hearts and prayers.

My condolences to you all in the loss of Raymond. When I did the first three years of my teaching career at the Queen Street branch of Fredericton High School, Raymond was the principal. He was helpful and supportive, a great leader, and had a good sense of humour. I think all of our staff in those years enjoyed our time there. Raymond will be fondly remembered.
Sincerely, Sandra (Dorcas) MacBean

I am so sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in these verses from 2 Timothy. " I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing". I am so thankful that we have the blessed hope of seeing our loved ones again. Praying for you all daily. Love and prayers from Sis Alberta (Bertie) Munn.

I remember Raymond Woodward as my physics teacher at Fredericton High when it was on George St. He was the best and made physics so interesting and easy. When I was working at the walk in medical clinic, him and his beautiful wife used to come in. They were both so pleasant. Enjoyed seeing them come.
Our condolences are with the family, Vera, Raymond, Natalie and Glen and their families. He was always smiling and such a joy to be around. He will be greatly missed but the memories will always go with you. I’m sure there are a lot of special ones.
We moved to Alberta one year ago to be close to family but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Sharon and Winslow MacDonald

Dear Roland, Andrea, JoAnn and Families.
Our condolences in the loss of your Brother and Uncle.
Raymond was a very fine man and lived out his faith through his life and in his work.
Not every one manages to be so consistent in his life and example but Raymond did.
You have every reason to be very proud of him as a brother and as an uncle.
May his example inspire each of us to the call of Christ in our lives.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dean and Louise

Mr. Woodward was principal at FHS for all of my high school years. Being teens, we sometimes chafed at his strict rules, but we respected him. I am awed at his he kept 3000 +/- of us safe, always with a smile!
On a more personal note, I came to Christ in 1984, and his Christian example was not lost on me.
Sincerest condolences to Mr. Woodward’s family, church family, and friends.

Dear Vera and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you all as you mourn the passing of a dear husband, father, and grandfather. Raymond was an outstanding educator and principal who was my principal and mentor for many years. As our principal at Queen St. High he was a compassionate leader whose respect for students and staff was remarkable. Later, as we moved up the hill, he remained very close to his former staff and was always there to listen and offer wisdom. I always admired his deep faith and love for family. When I lost my only brother so suddenly, he drove to Stanley to express his sympathy to me and to our family--a gesture i never forgot. I know that you are deeply saddened but know that you will find peace in the beautiful memories you share. I am thinking of you all with love and prayers. Sincerely, Diane Gorman Flynn
