Obituary of Melvin Henry Munn

 

MUNN, MELVIN “MANNY”

 

The passing of Melvin “Manny” Munn of Porter Cove, NB husband of Susan (Long) Munn occurred on Saturday August 29, 2020 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on October 1, 1958 he was the son of Melvin and Lorna Munn.  Manny work at Carroll Enterprise for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

 

Manny is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Brian) Gilks; chosen son, Corey (Shauna) O’Donnell; grandchildren, Jeremy (Madison Gilks) Munn, Brayden Gilks and Kinley Gilks; sisters, Norma (Tony) Munn and  Audrey (Oran) Furlong; brothers, Alfred (Judy) Munn and  Gary (Elizabeth) Munn; He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Andy Munn and Darrah Long. 

 

A public visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 6-9 pm with COVID restrictions in place. A Funeral Service, by invitation, will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 2 pm.  Interment will follow in the McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove, NB. Following the interment, the pubic are invited to attend a reception at the Upper Miramichi Lions Club, COVID restrictions are in place.
