I am saddened to hear of Nick's death. The picture reminds me of his smile in Grade 2. I remember his sense of humour even at the young age of 7. My condolences to all.

August should/could always be, forward, from a celebration of life, the month we choose to remember how blessed we have been because of those born in Augusts past, that we each had with us through so many times, both good and not good times during our lifetime, beginning August 2020. AD.
For all of our children and grandchildren, already born and those to come.
You remain in my thoughts, wishes and hopes now. I regret I have nothing helpful to offer at this time.

Gail and George, words cannot express how I feel about this. Please know that I have you all in my heart at this time. Please stay strong and take care of one another. Love Anne and Chris.

Alright so James Wilde and Nick Astorino were 2 guys I grew up with. I met them both in grade ten math class. I just found out tonight that nick was murdered and he was jsut about to be a father. The last time I saw him was at our homie James funeral. James didn’t wake up one morning and passed at the age of 29. I saw Nick didn’t even speak we dapped up shook hands looked each other in the eye and kept it moving. I never in a million years would have thought that would be the last time I see him alive. That was just in February. At James funeral. Life is so so so precious I have my own mental health issues I battle. I attempted suicide this year just over 2 months ago. I failed and am still here clearly as I read this to you guys. It’s crazy. I tlak about the universe a lot Nick and James were very good friends and yesterday morning at 7:59 AM I went in and on my Facebook. I looked at all my requests like my page or classes and groups and I never except or decline usually a lot of those like I have a bunch built that and I went all the way down to the bottom and I started hitting decline and I was hitting them so fast James name popped up and I just hit decline and I was like damn I wish I could’ve just save that there to just have them here in my Facebook forever type thing you know just a little things like that are type of things that I do to stay connected to people anyways so I screenshot it. I have the picture right here on my phone what’s the one that I’m shooting on anyways and then literally that day Nick with a guy I have the picture right here on my phone what’s the one that I’m shooting on anyways and then literally that day Nick would have got killed and I just think to my head like well the boys finally reunited they’re at they’re chilling it’s just so crazy to me but at the same time nobody’s safe you have to remember that always be kind of people it’s so important I can’t stress it enough tell the people you love you love them and anybody that sees this go on your phone after this and call somebody you haven’t talk to you in a long time. As with my heavy heart to have to say rest in peace to my friend Nick and my friend James
