CAMPBELL, ALLIE LOU PATRICIA
Allie Lou Patricia Anne Campbell died peacefully at Hawthorne Place, Hartland, NB on Monday, July 20, 2020 of natural causes. Born in Woodstock in 1942, and a life-long resident of New Brunswick, Allie Lou was the much loved daughter of James Neil and Mildred (nee Laurie) Campbell, of Woodstock, muched loved sister to older brothers, Malcolm (m. Carol Anne Jewett) and John (Jack) (m. Madeline Phillips); many loved nieces and nephews. Allie Lou made many friends during her time on earth, especially friends in Christ and her devoted faith, and friends in her artistic endeavours. Allie Lou was a passionate writer, poet and painter. A highlight for her was having her art displayed at the Lieutenant Governor's residence, along with other local artisans. Allie Lou loved her music, and was an avid collector of tapes, records and loved exploring new music. She also loved a good meal (especially sea food, a good steak, chow mein). She had a wonderful sense of humour and a great chuckle, especially when playing cards or sharing time with her family during a good day out on the Nashwaak, where she spent time fishing with her family and camp friends. Allie Lou faced many challenges, always head on, during her lifetime. Allie's strong faith allowed her to manage the rough periods of mental illness. She was an inspiration for family and friends. Thanks from her family to the many doctors, nurses, and care personnel for their constant devotion to Allie over the years. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick are welcome. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
