Dore, Michael Dean

 

The passing of Michael Dean Dore of Fredericton, NB, occurred on July 14, 2020 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family.  Born on September 11, 1962 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Barbara Alyce (Bate) and Dean Winston Dore. 

 

Michael worked for NB Power for over 30 years.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hockey.  He was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. He loved studying and watching the weather and enjoyed his regular routines.    He loved going to Tim Hortons and drives with his daughter who he dearly loved. 

 

Besides his parents, Michael is survived by daughter Frances Dore of Fredericton; sisters, Cheryl Porter (Michael) of Saint John and Wendy McNabb (Trevor) of Fredericton; nieces, Jennifer and Holly, nephew, Matthew.
 

Keeping with Michael’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian National Autism Foundation.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
