Obituary of Cecile Leona LeBlanc

The passing of Cecile Leona LeBlanc of New Maryland, NB, wife of the late Laurie LeBlanc, occurred on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  Born on May 26, 1938 in St. Anne, NB, she was a daughter of the late James and Mabel (O'Donnell) Lynch.  Cecile was affiliated with St. John and Paul Church, New Maryland.  She was also a member of the 3rd Age Club.  She enjoyed going for walks and doing crafts in her spare time.

Cecile is survived by her daughter, Margo LeBlanc; son, Michael LeBlanc; grandson, Braedon LeBlanc; sister, Lena Denton (Douglas); and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband and parents, Cecile was predeceased by her son, Eugene LeBlanc; sisters, Nora and Mary Lynch; and brothers, James, Tom and Gerald Lynch.

Due to the current health situation, a Memorial Service, by invitation only will take place from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Tues­­­­day, July 21, 2020 at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating.  Interment will take place in St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery, Minto, NB.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
