Obituary of Ina Marie Fullarton

FULLARTON,  Ina Marie

Surrounded by the love of her family, on June 5 2020, Ina Marie Fullarton passed away peacefully at home at the age of 96.  She was born in Williamsburg NB on August 22, 1923 and was the daughter of the late John and Daisy Gorman. 

Ina was the loving wife of 64 years to the late Roy Fullarton. And a loving, devoted, and caring mom to two daughters and one son, Connie DeRoches, of Fredericton NB, Rachel Gilliss of Fredericton NB and Jerry Fullarton of Williamsburg, NB  and one sister-in-law, Jean Gorman (Cliff).

Ina is also survived by five grandchildren; Tony McFadgen (Heather), Rocky Dorcas (Sheila), Tanya Kelly (Tim), Sylvia Drost (Anthony), Paula Thomas (Rodney); 10 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Ina was a caregiver to her younger siblings at a young age due to her mothers passing and looked after many during her lifetime.  Ina was the lady of the house and a stay at home mom.  Up until 2013 Ina cooked all meals on the woodstove and used a ringer washer.  Ina enjoyed baking bread, playing cards, and making sure the pantry was always full. 

Ina took pride in always having an open door to her friends and family to serve a homemade meal and a hot cup of tea. 

Ina's family was truly blessed and will continue to be, by her gift of cherished memories

Due to the current health crises there will be no public visitation.  A private family interment will be held at Williamsburg Community Cemetery, on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 3:00 pm.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
