Obituary of Debra Marjorie Crouse

The sudden passing of Debra Marjorie Crouse of Burtt's Corner, NB, wife of Wayne Crouse, occurred at their home on February 24, 2020.  Born on September 25, 1953 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of Claudia (Waugh) McKeil and the late Neil McKeil. Debra was the Postmaster for Canada Post in Burtt's Corner. She loved sewing and making quilts, and volunteered for and supported many local groups. Debra was a member of Crosspoint Church.

In addition to her mother and husband, Debra is survived by a daughter, Erin Crouse of Fredericton; son, Terry Crouse (Andra Schmidt) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Everett and Mya; sister, Lori Swetnam (John) of Moncton; brother, Peter McKeil (Debra) of Burtt's Corner; sister-in-law, Rosena Crouse of Quispamsis; brother-in-law, Burtis Brewer of Douglas; uncles, Donald Waugh (Nancy) of Saint John and Eric Morgan (Ann) of Burtt's Corner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her sisters-in-law, Marilda Brewer and Carolyn Jones; and brother-in-law Douglas Crouse.

Arrangements are under the care of York Funeral Home. A Memorial Celebration will take place at Burtt's Corner Baptist Church, 1034 Route 104, Burtt's Corner, NB at a later date, to be announced.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to CARMA Cat Rescue, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
