Heather, Artie and friends: I will miss Betty's friendly smile around Stanley. She had a real talent for interior decorating, and my mother and I enjoyed visiting her when she lived in the Hossack house. At the last Stanley Fair, she was one of the lovely models who took part in the fashion show at the tea party. She will be missed.

Betty was one our sister Red Hatters and will be very much missed. She so loved to get together with her red hat friends. Her love of gardening inspired her to organize a "garden party" in her beautiful gardens. ..so much enjoyed by all. Every time I go up Stanley hill, I look in at her home and think of that garden party..Rest in peace, Betty. You will certainly be missed...Princess Paulina

It hard to imagine Stanley without Betty. Almost everyone in town knew her. When we were children she would be the smiling face at the fair who passed out small toys almost remembrances to the children. As I grew older I was so lucky to gain the opportunity to work in her gardens. I learned so much from her about gardening and I enjoyed the conversation we had better than anything. And most of all I was blessed to have had a friend like her. Thank you so much Betty, you will be sorely missed.

Betty was full of spunk and game for just about anything. She became fully involved in the community of Stanley. She will be missed by many. Thinking of Heather, Art, Lil, Darlene and so many others who were such good friends to Betty. May she Rest in Peace.
