Hi Andrea, Keith and Shelley,
On behalf of all of us who grew up with Doug as our coach, I wanted to say how sorry we all are to lose an indelible influence on our lives. Any of us who played with Keith and on Doug's teams can likely relate many memorable stories. A tough love coach, he always demanded (and usually got) the best from us. Coaches, and parents of fellow athletes, have a tremendous influence on kids everywhere. Doug was an abundance of influence and memories for those of us who played together with Keith in our formative Lancaster years.
I hope you can fondly remember those years and some of the stories we all shared while playing hockey and baseball together.
On a personal note, I will always remember the encyclopedic knowledge of sports that Keith seemed to have (courtesy in large part to Doug) and the four cups of coffee Doug said he needed to 'get out the door' in the morning.
Sincerely,
Jon Barry

Dear Keith, Wendy and Garret, Andrea, Shelley&Brad and family,
Carolyn, Charlie, Will and I would like you to know that we are all thinking about you and offer our condolences on the loss of Doug.
I really enjoyed the chats I had with Doug when Sean, Keith and I spent time at your house in Greendale. I will always remember him as a kind man with a great sense of humor.
It is the good times and fond memories that come to mind and stay with us as we appreciate having had the opportunity of sharing the life of someone special.
I hope that these thoughts help you as you mourn the loss of Doug.
Regards
Mike Jackson

Shelley, Kenzie and Family -
We are so sorry for the loss of your dad/grandfather. He sounds like a fantastic person (with the one flaw of being a Canadiens fan). Your RPC family is thinking about you during this difficult time. Take care of each other.
on behalf of RPC,
Eric Cook
