It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alicia Dawn Johnston of Fredericton, NB, which occurred on January 29, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 5, 1977 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Carol (Gourley) and Dana Boyd. Alicia took much pride in working at the University of Fredericton (UFred), was a lover of nature and adored her fur babies, Paddi & Sugar.
Besides her parents, Alicia is survived by her sister, Tracy McLeod (Jeremy) of Fredericton; nieces and nephew, Savannah, Emmitt, and Makayla; grandfather, Willard Boyd of Fredericton; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 5-8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Devon Park Baptist Church at 145 Clark Street, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 1 pm with Pastor Stephen Little officiating.
