Obituary of Joyce Lois Armstrong

The passing of Joyce Lois (Arbery) Armstrong of Fredericton, NB wife of the late Norman Armstrong occurred on Saturday January 18, 2020 at York Care Centre. Born on March 4, 1925 in Sherbrooke, QC she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Roarke) Arbery. Joyce worked with Towers & Murphy’s Jewellery and then with the Keswick Exchange where she retired after 17 years.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Sally and son in law George MacFarlane of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jeremy, Kimberly and Richard MacFarlane; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hannah MacFarlane; several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her son Kenneth Armstrong; numerous brothers and sisters.

At Joyce’s request a private Funeral Service will take place. Interment will be at the Pickard Merrithew Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of York Care Center and a special thank you to Samruay Sinclaire for the loving care she provided to Joyce.
